Three points

Over the top. Worth three points because you will miss it twenty times first.

A boy dribbles an orange ball past an older player in a sports hall, with the Pannaball goal in the background

Instant win

It’s called the Panna Panna. Through the legs, then through a gate. Game over.

Ways to play? New ones keep turning up.

Borrow one, change one, or make up your own.

Dead zones

Close one gate before you start. Everyone forgets which one within about a minute

“That one doesn’t count.”
“Since when?”

Bonus gate

Pick a gate. For sixty seconds it is worth five. Nobody defends anything else.

“Sixty seoconds. Go.”

Jackpot

Over the top only. Games take longer and end louder.

“Watch this.”

One touch

One touch each, then it has to move. Twice as fast, half as elegant.

“I saw two touches there.”

Got ‘em

This is how we caught them playing it

Why we made Pannaball?

Nobody decides to stop playing.
It just gets harder to start.

So we made a game out of openings.

The six gates are only the start. What happens around them belongs to the people playing: rules change, new formats appear and games turn into something we never could have planned ourselves. That is exactly how we like it. A portable playfield for everyone who stopped playing because something was always missing.

Pannaball gets better every time someone takes it somewhere new, bring someone else into the game or comes up with a rule we would never have thought of. We give you the goal and a place to start. What happens next is yours, as long as it stays fun.

The people behind the goal

Pannaball started as a spin-off, but somewhere between the first prototype and the next round of testing, it became something we did not really want to put away again.

So we kept building. The prototypes changed, the game got better and the team grew to four people with the same idea: getting more people playing, wherever they are. Together, we’reStepaside, the company behind Pannaball.

A lot of testing, ideas and more than a few games later, Pannaball came to life, patent included. What started as a spin-off is now out in the world, ready for other people to decide where it goes next.
